Hello Everyone

        What a weekend we had.As i mentioned last week my sweety sing in an all male choir. In the spring they get together with all the male choirs in the area.We get together in the biggest building the host choir has in their city and it usually is a church,as it was this year.Well when you get over 200 mens voices together you get chils.They started with a song of thanks,and hear are the words.

Thanks to God for my redeemer,

By the end of the evening we lifted the roof. It is wonderful to see Gods goodness,and it gives us the will to go on. Next year it's going to be in our  city.Looking foward to it already.Now back to work, and there are a million things to do this week.The days are getting longer so there is more time to do things outside. Hope every one will have a save week ,and remember God is good.

 

Hello every one .I haven't said much lately caus I was just enjoying every one else blogs.I have had a very busy week also. we bought a new house last year so there are things that need to be done outside. The weather was just like summer and first my sweety and I put in a flower garden. When there is nothing but grass, we walled the garden so that the dirt doesn't wash out with the rain. We got the stones and we said well we don't have to do this in one day,but we did anyway. On tues. i care for two children age 4 and 10 months,so that day is out .Well wed we ordered the garden soil and it was dumped on the drive way. We said we don't have to do it in one day ,but that also went fast we were done at 4:15 p.m.The next day we went to get some plants and i planted them and it looks very nice. We  are also putting a deck at the back of the house ,but our son is doing this project. He is a carpenter ,and he is a perfectionest,so it's taking a while. They weren't here today caus he had to finish a bathroom for some one else. Hopefully it will be finished on Mon.So you see i did keep up withyou all but it takes me a lot longer to type this ,for i've never learned to type so it's a bit slow going ,but i'm learning. Thankyou to all that send me such kind messages.

                                         Have a great weekend, my sweety has a spring concert Sat. to sing in,so were off again for this weekend,and staying at our sons place. So we will see 4 of the grand children again. They are so precious. See you all soon.

I just came home from doing some shopping and anwer some emails. One was from my sister in law who's son just recently passed away to be with the Lord.I know she is going through a very hard time,losing a husband and son within a year. I was happy to hear from her,it's impotant to support one another in faith. You see the devil loves to put doubt in our minds especialy when we are week. But we can shake that devil up with our prayers,and Gods word,he usually takes a hike.

          Any way on a different note,we have three grandsons birtday's this weekend so a bi g cellebration coming up tomorow. I never know what to get the kids for their birthday,so i have been giving them money the last 2 years.Today was our oldest grandsons birthday so we gave him a quick call and his brother answerd ,and his big day is Monday. He says to me Chris is working today ,so he not in,then added Chris doesn't like you to give him money anymore.I'm sure it's he that doesn't want the money. Oh well they can take it or leave it. Today is 13 years ago of the boming in Oklahoma that was at 9 in the morning at 5 p.m our first grand child was born, and at 7p.m my niece died of breast cancer.She left behind 7 children under 8.She died a day before her set of twins turned 1.Some times we stand amazed at what can happen in such a short time.But we always know whose in control,and that softens the ups and the downs. HELLO EVERY ONE

 I've been reading some of the blogs ,and you know what? a lot of people are hurting other people,and it always boggels my mind that they almost have joy in doing so.!As we all very well know we don't have much time on this earth,so why not live as though you care enough about your fellow man,to say how you feel and then let that person deal with it in their way. That does not mean you have to agree with every one but don't feel you have to change them on the spot. It's not your duty to change people, that's God work. All we have to do is stand firm on God's word and He will do the rest. He promised us that, and He's never let me down.It might not happen today,but then look at what He's working with.We just want to tear each other apart and we aren't easily thinking that we are ever wrong!! If you have a beef with someone don't tear them to shreds, listen! and pray you understand that person. God knows how to deal with it, and it's beyond our comprhension anyway.

               So my thought for the day is enjoy what is given and whatever comes our way today that can spoil your day,bring it to the Lord in prayer.But you must leave it in His hands, you see he knows what's in the other persons heart, and changing hearts is God's work, not ours.I wish you all a blessed day, and go with God. We some times don't realise what is portioned out for us. I thought I was retired last year and thought to myself Um what will I do with all my time? Well little did I know that I was as busy as I was when i had a daycare. This week we had our nephew's funeral, and at the same time our daughter put out her back, and having two small babies I offered to help her. The one bayby is six months and she had a brutel delivery in Sep. so i had to spent four weeks with them then ,she wasn't alowed to lift any thing for four weeks,and they also have a almost two year old now so no lifting again. First i spent a day and night there ,then we decided that I could just as well help her at our home . So she moved in for a few days until her back gets stronger.So never think you will be twideling you thumbs when retired! we are always usefull if we allow our selfs to be. Now I'm home again with my sweety, and he can also enjoy the grand kids. I have to run because they are back from a walk in the snow. We had a couple of inc. again this past night ,I guess spring is not hear yet. have a great day. Margaret

Our days seem so long sometimes when we want something, and then, in one week we are thrown into a real world where we  again realize that nothin depends on us as people, but that our lifes are in  Gods hands.You see on Mon. we found out that our nephew had a brain anurisem. They rushed him to Detroit where he had another one on tues. plus a stroke. Today we got the phone call that every one dreads.He died at 10:30 , and leaves behind a very loving wife ,and four children.Last year on the 27th of this month we stood at the grave side of his father.It puts life in a diffent perspective.Easter will have it's full meaning as we thank God for sending His Son to die for us so that we might have eternel life.That is our hope in this time of sorrow.To all a blessed Easter and may God bless you.

Well i'm back from my convention,and we had a blast! The trip down was long for we were held up at the border for an hour and a half. That was the worst of our trip,but easy to over come.After that we laughed so much,that our sides were hurting.We ended up in a very beautiful hotel,and we had to share the room with the four of us,two rooms for the eight of us.That in it self is chaleging.One of the girls had a terrible headace,so she was out of the picture and soon she was followed by all the other oldies.That left me with the girls that were more like my daughters age.Well you could all be proud of me,I kept my end of the bargen.I pulled more pranks than what they had bargened for.I think I lost ten pounds from all the laughing.If laughter is supposed to lengthen our lives, i've added a vew. This is all I can tell you for what happened in Hudsoville stays in Hudsonville. Good night to all,and God bless all of you out there.Don't forget He also created laughter.

Good morning to all. I woke up to some more ice rain. The roads will be icy this morning but when you are retired it doesn't affect my day. I am new on this friend thing and am finding it fascinating to read all the the different blogs. I just happen to stumble on the your space last month and am trying to get somewhat familiar with it. I'm still getting familiar with the computer! My daughter in law gave me this book called the complete idiot's guide to microsoft for Christmas, that should tell you out there what is going on in my brain. She is a very daring girl,but I love hear to death. Today i'm packing to go on a trip to a womens conferance in MI.We are going with eight of us, so no sleep for the next couple of nights. I have always wanted to go ,but had a daycare and couln't just leave. Now that i'm retired well it's on my to do list. I hope to tell you about it next week. Till then may the good Lord keep you and stay close to Him for He loves you.

Hello everyone, I bet no one else is doing this at3:15 AM? But here we go .i couln't sleep so I might just as wel do a little chating.We are digging out of a big snow storm,we had two feet of snow dumped on us this past Saterday.when we come out of our drive way some one should get out to see if any traffic is coming and I know it  won't be me!I will tell my honey bunch to get out to check.We have been married for 46 years and I know he wouln't send his precious out there .! He is a gentleman at all times,and I try to be a lady,ha,ha.We have 5 children and 10 grandchildren.All my children are grown and some are married. I  love having my grandchildren over ,the best time is when they sleep over with out their parents.They ask questions such as were you ever small like us? I guess to them we have always just been there.The last time our 8year old grand daughter asked what i was doing at her age. That was a long time ago but I remember as if it was yesterday.I was coming accross the Atlantic ocean at the age of 8 on one huge ship. It was in March and the Atlantic was rather boisterous at that time of year. Most every one was sea sick, but I had no problem,so I went exploring,and this brought me to a craft room where all sorts of kids spend time.There was just one exception I didn't tell my parents. As you can imagine they were frightend to death, and they searched all over for me thinking I had fallen over board.I feel bad now thinking about it but I was just having a good time! It was a great time in my life, but also very hard, for I didn't speek the engish language. I still have trouble speeking and writing.I didn't have that much education,for I had to work on the farm and education was secondary,but I get along that't the main thing. Well I think this is enough for tonight and I will try to get some shut eye.

Today is another snow day in Canada. We have had a few this winter, but there is light at the end of the tunnel!soon we'll be complaining how hot it is and we would like   to hunker down for the winter.Us people are not easely satisfied,But we sure could make the best of it.Today I'm getting aquanted with a new frie nd ,or enemy which ever way you want to look at it ! The computer is a faccenating thing,and to get aquanted with a lover you first have to get to know it!So that is my gool! I'm very frustrated already but that builds caracture. Today is someones Birtday and I'm trying to talk with her on messenger but a'm unableto get through. Hope she reads this today.Happy birtday p! and hope you have lots more.Some time today we are going to have to blow the snow out an d that seems that it is just about that time. So this is a very good time to say see you soon!

i'm just spending some time here. Church was canceled because of the ice rain,i missed it!But there is always to share God's love for us this way.We had a tea for our senior ladies yesterday with the girls of our church.it was great fun.It's fun to share their stories with us.I've always wanted to share God's word with people for it helps us to get through tough times and gives us joy even when every thing seems to go kapoot around us. To think that a book like the Bible has lasted this long throughout that it must have some validity,otherwise it would have been dumped long ago.When you read the bible it tells us so much about who created us even when our scholars try to disprove it all they have never actually proven anything but theory. The Bible tells us that god is yesterday ,today, and tomorrow.Who in this world has ever promissed that,and come through for you. I know speeking for myself something or someone always failed and yet God never has,that says something. He promisses the season and they come,the rain and it comes,the sun and yes it's here.But he wants us to ask and believe, thats all. It's not much is it? Think about it.
